Guidelines for Publication

Natura Humanitas is a peer-reviewed, open-access Quarterly journal. From 2025, Natura Humanitas is published in electronic form on the journal's website. The use and distribution of the open access articles are permitted for non-commercial purposes provided the original works are properly cited (according to CC BY NC standard).

Authors' Rights & Ethics

Copyright: Authors retain copyright and publishing rights for their own articles. We use the standards applied by other international academic journals.

Publication Ethics: To accomplish the task of ethical publication practices, the team invites all the contributors to seriously consider the acknowledged Codes of Conduct / Guidelines for Best Practice (e.g., COPE).

Disclaimer: By submitting their article for evaluation to the journal, the authors express their consent for it to be published in the event that it successfully passes the peer-review process. The submission implies the authors' acceptance of the journal's policies.

Style & Formatting

Important: Natura Humanitas adheres to specific citation styles based on the discipline of the manuscript:
  • Arts, Design, & Social Sciences: Please use APA 7th Edition style.
  • Natural Sciences & Computing: Please use IEEE style.

1. Manuscript Preparation

  • The manuscript should be formatted for A4 paper and must be in MS Word. Please do not submit PDF files.
  • Text should be in Times New Roman 12 point, justified, and use 1.5 spacing throughout.
  • Texts should ideally range around 4000 to 8000 words.
  • If you need to use non-Latin fonts (e.g., Greek, Chinese), please use standard Unicode fonts. Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic terms should ideally be accompanied by Latin transliterations or translations where necessary.

2. Abstract & Keywords

  • Abstract: Should not exceed 300 words.
  • Keywords: 3 to 6 keywords should be listed after the abstract.
  • Bio: Authors are asked to supply a short biographical note (approx. 50-100 words).

Submission & Fees

Article Processing Charge (APC)

As an Open Access (OA) journal, publishing a manuscript requires an APC of $150 USD(1000CNY for Chinese Authors). This fee is paid by the submitting author upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication.

Waiver Policy (Excellent Manuscripts):
Natura Humanitas is committed to promoting high-quality academic research. Manuscripts evaluated as "Excellent" or "Outstanding" by the review committee will be exempt from the Article Processing Charge (APC Waived).

Payment & Confirmation

When the authors are notified about the acceptance of their manuscripts, they will receive instructions for payment (if applicable).

Review Process

Natura Humanitas is a peer-reviewed journal. All articles are evaluated in a double-blind peer review system.

  • Submitted manuscripts are sent to peer reviewers who will recommend whether they should be accepted, revised, or rejected.
  • Any manuscript is reviewed as a confidential document.
  • Submission Timeline: We accept submissions on a rolling basis throughout the year for our Quarterly issues.
